Global Giving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund
The Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund by Global Giving sprung into action once Russia declared war on Ukraine earlier this week.
According to the organization's official website, your donation will help "affected communities in Ukraine, with a focus on the most vulnerable, including children, who need access to food, medical services, and psychosocial support."
Not only that, but the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund will "support humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled."
On September 16 2009,
My best friend committed suicide, five days before his birthday, and a month into my first and last semester of college. He left behind five children, five lives that continue to reflect the impact of his absence even though its been 12 years.
I like to think I understand why he did it. I try to justify his actions, but those things only help me cope for awhile. I only get to see my Dad in my dreams now and although I am grateful for that, it isn't enough.
My little sister was around five years old when we lost our Dad. Eight years later, she lost her best friend to suicide while they were in middle school.
If you see something, say something.
